Special Training Program in Southeast Asian Studies

Southeast Asian culture is generally and admirably regarded as a long-lived and valued culture. Despite the globalized world of the 21st century, Southeast Asian people still maintain their 'Southeast Asian-ness' and also gracefully integrate it with the elements of the modern world.

Southeast Asian Studies Program, Chulalongkorn University, established the first M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies in 2002. In 2005, the program proudly offered the Training Program in Southeast Asian Studies for those who wish to have a brief but comprehensive knowledge of Southeast Asian culture, both traditional and contemporary.

Participants of the courses over a period of 20 days will learn many interesting aspects of Southeast Asian culture through academic lectures by scholars in the field mainly from Chulalongkorn University, excursions led by recognized experts and practical training instructed by skillful and experienced professionals in their fields.

Note: Since the medium of instruction is English, participants are supposed to have a good command of English.
